Support & Conversions Officer, NCI

Currently looking for a candidate to assist the Country Adviser (South Asia) supporting National College of Ireland. The job will be based in Gurgaon.


Roles and Responsibilities​

  1. Conversion and Follow-ups –


  • Deliver outbound call campaigns at various stages throughout the student journey to facilitate conversion with the goal of increasing the acceptance rate

  • Develop resources to assist conversion activities including phone scripts, standard text and knowledgebase content

  • Process general admission requests from International applicants and liaise with the admissions team for the application process

  • Assisting the country adviser with Education fairs (both offline & online)


 2. Reporting and Analysis –


  • Capturing and collating leads, enquiries, mailers, data from events into the central CRM system (MS Office)

  • Understanding the entire CRM system at NCI and remain the custodian for all applicant data

  • Assisting the country adviser to prepare monthly reports

  • Need-based data analysis may be required.


 3. Support and Marketing –


  • Organising any marketing mailshots including sending letters/e-mails for events and promotional campaigns as and when required

  • Follow up campaigns (through direct calls/ mails) to all applicants

  • Follow-up telephone calls to students / alumni who are attending education exhibitions/missions/pre-departure briefings or alumni receptions to be done within two days before the event

  • Engage in social media marketing by creating Facebook/ Instagram content and promoting the same



The incumbent will report to the Country Adviser (South Asia) supporting National College of Ireland.


 Personal Specification 

  • Bachelor degree in business management, commerce, marketing, project management or equivalent. Relevant postgraduate or professional qualification is desirable, not mandatory

  • Should be well-versed with IT skills in Microsoft Office and Google suite

  • Should demonstrate a working knowledge of social media marketing

  • Should demonstrate analytical abilities and a key focus on generating insights through data entry and collection

  • The candidate needs to work independently, should possess high levels of attention to detail and be a team player

  • Good numerical skills

  • Data entry experience

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office

  • Attention to details
