Job Summary

The Market Research Manager will oversee the research function. The incumbent will establish research processes, evaluate research tools and guide the staff on effectively addressing research problems and will be the custodian of the final output of the team.



  • Masters qualification in Business/Management/Economics

  • Strong analytical skills, along with good written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver high quality results

  • Excellent Customer Relationship Management skills as the role entails communicating (in-person, phone or email) with senior stakeholders in education institutions and large organisations



  • 5-7 years’ post-graduation work experience in education research domain

  • Experience predominantly in education research, along with experience in conducting interviews with subject matter experts and universities


Role & Responsibilities

  • Carry out primary and secondary research

  • Create bespoke market intelligence reports

  • Prepare white papers on several aspects on international education

  • Carry out extensive customer mapping and targeting

  • Successfully carry out customised reports for clients at OneStep Global

  • Build an external network of industry or functional sources and experts to derive their objective views on the subject-matter

  • Adept in crunching complex data to provide actionable insights

  • Work with the Marketing teams to create newsletters on trends and insights across international education

  • Collaborative in working style to engage with subject matter experts and functional specialists to harness their knowledge and views in the deliverable
